Alison Hiscox is an experienced international education management professional with over 25 years’ experience in transnational education.
 
She has significant experience in managing university pathway programs and has previously held Principal and Academic Director positions in Sri Lanka, Kenya, Zambia and Australia and has managed and developed pathway programs in China and Myanmar.
 
With an extensive portfolio in education and academic quality, student services, marketing and management, Alison has led the UTS College Sri Lanka team since inception at the end of 2019.  She is passionate about providing Sri Lankan students with the opportunity to study high quality Australian programs locally as well as ensuring that their experience is comparable to that of their peers at UTS College in Sydney, Australia.
 
Alison has been associated with Sri Lanka for the last 20 years and is proud to be the Principal of UTS College Sri Lanka where students are provided with both a world class Australian education experience and a guaranteed pathway to the University of Technology in Sydney – the No. 1 young university in Australia * Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2024.

Head of Finance and Administration

Samindie Karunaratne is an experienced Finance and Accounting professional with over 25 years of experience in the transnational education sector in Sri Lanka.

Her experience includes managing Finance and Accounting departments as well as taking on responsibility for Administration and HR functions, and she has significant previous experience in management roles in these areas for institutions offering Australian pathway and degree programs in Sri Lanka.

Samindie is well placed to lead the Finance and Accounting team and keenly uses her knowledge and experience to support students in all of their financial dealings with UTS College Sri Lanka – a guaranteed pathway to the University of Technology Sydney – UTS is ranked 5th in Australia and 62nd in the world for graduate employability * QS graduate employability rankings 2022.

Head of Sales and Marketing
International MBA, BSc Business & Management

Hasitha Fernando is an experienced international education marketer with over 14 years’ experience in transnational education (TNE) pathways and international university placements in Sri Lanka.

His experience includes promoting TNE programs, managing enrolments, and guiding students in their selection of university pathway programs.  He has previously held management roles in these areas for other institutions offering Australian university brands in Sri Lanka.
With his experience in Australian education pathways and international university placements, Hasitha is well placed to lead the UTS College Sales and Marketing team in Sri Lanka. 

He is a passionate individual who wants to use his experience and knowledge to support Sri Lankan students pursue their career goals through world class Australian education at UTS College Sri Lanka – a guaranteed pathway to the University of Technology Sydney- ranked 9th in Australia and 88th  in the World * QS World university rankings 2025.

Head of Academic
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical (First Class Honours), Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.

Dilruk Warnakula is both an experienced Mechanical Engineer and Academic who has held leadership positions in both New Zealand and Sri Lanka over the last 10 years. 

His postgraduate studies have seen him conduct extensive research in 3D printing and nanocomposites and his lecturing portfolio includes Mechanical Design, Thermodynamics and Physics.  In a previous role, Dilruk also successfully spearheaded efforts to obtain program accreditations from governing bodies in Australia.

With a strong focus on academic leadership and quality assurance of our Diploma and Foundation pathway programs, Dilruk ensures that our courses and our students adhere to the same quality standards as those of UTS College in Sydney.

With a solid background in Australasian education, Dilruk is well-positioned to lead the academic programs at UTS College Sri Lanka, which offers a guaranteed pathway to the University of Technology Sydney – 11th highest performing university in the world under 50 years *Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2024.
